Introduction:

Air India is seeking qualified individuals to join its Line Maintenance team in Delhi. We are looking for dedicated professionals with experience in aircraft maintenance to ensure the highest standards of safety and reliability.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Sr. Technician/Technician:

Perform aircraft maintenance tasks according to company standards.

Allocate job responsibilities to the team.

Maintain toolkits and ensure proper storage of tools and materials.

Coordinate with other departments for efficient cabin maintenance.

Ensure cleanliness and safety of work areas.

Facilitate shift handovers effectively.

Foreman:

Monitor and assist Shift In-charge in maintenance activities.

Manage manpower and allocate duties within the shift.

Coordinate with various departments to ensure on-time aircraft departure.

Conduct audits of personnel toolboxes and report discrepancies.

Assist in aircraft movement and provide training on tool/equipment usage.

Maintain office standards and facilitate shift handovers.

Sr. Engineer:

Ensure compliance with manufacturer and regulatory requirements during maintenance.

Complete work sheets, inspection schedules, and maintenance records accurately.

Prepare delay and occurrence reports in a timely manner.

Rectify defects observed during inspection or reported by flight crew.

Supervise technicians and ensure adherence to airworthiness procedures.

Keep abreast of technical requirements and instructions from relevant authorities.

Report un-serviceability of vehicles, ramps, and aircraft promptly.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

Minimum educational requirement: 10+2 (PCM) or Equivalent.

Ab-Initio AME Training from a DGCA approved institution.

Must hold DGCA (I) AME License with Type Rating/Company Authorization on two or more categories of Company Aircraft.

Experience:

Sr. Technician/Technician:

Minimum 4 years of hands-on Cabin Maintenance Experience on Transport Category aircraft in a scheduled airline.

Desired: 3 years on Narrow Body (A320 Family) and/or on Wide Body (B777 & B787).

Foreman:

Minimum 6-8 years of hands-on Cabin Maintenance Experience on Transport Category aircraft in a scheduled airline.

Desired: 5 years on Narrow Body (A320 Family) and/or on Wide Body (B777 & B787).

Sr. Engineer:

Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on Cabin Maintenance Experience on Transport Category aircraft in a scheduled airline.

Desired: 3+ years on Narrow Body (A320 Family) and/or on Wide Body (B777 & B787).
