Licensed Aircraft Engineer - Base Maintenance
Jazeera Airways is looking for a Licensed Aircraft Engineer - Base Maintenance who will be responsible to carry out maintenance tasks (scheduled/ unscheduled) and defect rectification of aircraft in accordance to the regulatory and company procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Perform routine/ non routine Aircraft maintenance tasks as per the authorization scope issued by the company. Rectification of defects, to ensure maintenance is achieved to the required standards of the operating program in an efficient and safe manner.
Developing and regulating all Maintenance for tooling, manpower, and ground support equipment (GSE).
Assigning daily workload to ensure efficient manpower utilization.
Ensuring that all GSE equipment is serviceable and serviced as per the maintenance program.
Maintaining a current knowledge base of applicable rules and regulations related to aircraft maintenance to ensure and monitor company, state, and federal compliance.
Carrying out competency assessments of all Technical staff and devising their training programs.
Serving as the focal point for all maintenance compliance and acting as the auditee for internal and external audits.
Providing guidance to the MCC CAMO, Flight Operations, and Maintenance Operations for critical aircraft maintenance and AOG events to minimize aircraft ground time.
In AOG situations, taking control of all maintenance activities and closely coordinating with MCC and supply chain to ensure the aircraft is recovered with minimal disruption.
Assigning priority to all assigned activities for smooth technical operations.
Producing and maintaining compliant and effective process instructions for Maintenance and identifying improvement opportunities that benefit performance and efficiency.
Administering and controlling deferred planned items to ensure maintenance is executed within its due period.
Ensuring daily and weekly inspections are carried out.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree / Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or equivalent.
Kuwait DGCA/ UAE GCAA/ EASA License endorsed with Airbus 320 family with CFM-56B and/or LEAP-1A engines.
Minimum 2 years of certifying experience on A320 family as B1 or B2 Engineer using the privileges of any of the above-mentioned license held by Licensed Aircraft Engineer in the last three years.
5 years aviation experience in related field including Base Maintenance.
Ability to read, interpret & follow aircraft related maintenance manuals/ Regulations/ Procedures clearly.
Time management, team-work, leadership and problem solving skills.
Excellent communications skills especially in English.
