About the role:

 We are recruiting for Aircraft Mechanic with Heavy Maintenance having B1 experience to be based in Doha, Qatar.

 Aircraft Mechanic will be responsible to deliver Aircraft Maintenance services to support the operational requirements as directed by their supervisor and will ensure all maintenance and related activities are performed in accordance with the company/customer procedures and supplied aircraft maintenance data.

 

Specific responsibilities for the role include:

Conduct tests and inspections of products, services or processes to evaluate quality or performance.

Adjust, align and calibrate aircraft systems, using hand tools, gauges and test equipment.

Examine and inspect engines or other components for cracks, breaks or leaks.

Dissemble and inspect parts for wear, warping or other defects.

Assemble and install plumbing mechanical, hydraulic and structural components and accessories using hand tools and power tools.

Service, cleaning screens, greasing screens, greasing moving parts and checking brakes.

Repair, replace and rebuild aircraft structures, functional components and parts such as wings and fuselage, rigging and hydraulic units.

Test engine and system operations, using testing equipment and listens to engine sounds to detect and diagnose malfunctions.

Remove engine from aircraft and install engine using hoist or forklift truck.

Remove and install Landing Gears and carry out Gear Swings and LG servicing.

Remove, Install and carry out rigging of major flight controls components such as Flaps, Slats etc.

Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.Implement technical solutions for various technical problems related to technical line maintenance.

Qualifications

About you

 

The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications

Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance or Trade or vocational aircraft maintenance qualification or Degree (B.Eng., BSc) or equivalent in aircraft engineering with minimum 5 Years Aircraft Maintenance experience (including apprenticeship).

In depth knowledge of aircraft maintenance fundamentals relative to his area of employment.

Ability to apply principles, techniques, procedures and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.

Ability to perform most tasks and duties independently typical to area of specialty.

Ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.

Repairing machines or systems using the needed tools.

Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.

Using mathematics to solve problems.

Installing equipment, machines, wiring or programs to meet specifications.

Controlling operations of equipment or systems.

• Assembles   and installs   electrical, plumbing mechanical, hydraulic and structural   components   and accessories using hand tools and power tools.

• Services, cleaning screens, greasing screens, greasing moving parts and checking brakes.

• Repairs, replaces and rebuilds aircraft structures, functional components and parts such as wings and fuselage, rigging and hydraulic units.

• Tests engine and system operations, using testing equipment and listens to engine sounds to detect and diagnose malfunctions.

• Removes engine from aircraft on installs engine using hoist or forklift truck.

• Modifies   aircraft structures, space vehicles, systems or components following drawings, engineering orders and technical publications.

About you

The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

Qualifications and Experience:

High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 3 years of job-related experience

Or Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 2 years of job-related experience.
