Job Role:
Performs scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance tasks. Reports directly to the Supervisor for all aspects of aircraft, facility, tool and equipment, and administrative requirements.
Required Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the maintenance supervisor to accomplish the company's mission
- Performs inspection servicing and repair of aircraft and equipment IAW applicable technical publication and local policies and procedures
- Assist in ensuring aircrfat and equipment are maintained in a high state of mission readiness
- Impart the knowledge of duties and responsibilities in such a manner to permit assimilation of the customer's trainess, the final aim being to enable the customer's technician to attain gradual full capacity to carry out maintenance
- Completes all forms, records and documents recording aircraft maintenance activities IAW DA PAM 738- 751, applicabke technical publications, and local policies and procedures
- May be requested to perform rated and non rated crew member duties to facilitate completion of maintenance activities such as maintenance test flights, maintenance operational checks, operation of diagnostic equipment during ground and flight
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team lead
Eligibility criteria For Mechanic:
Qualification, Experience & Knowledge:
Qualification:
- FAA Airframe and powerplant certificate or Industry equivalent
- High school Diploma, Graduation from military or commercial aircraft maintenance or course preferred
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years aviation maintenance
- Minimum of 3 years mechanic on aircraft type
Knowledge:
- Must have through knowledge in the use of common tools, special tools, test equipment and Aviation ground support equipment used in performing maintenance on the relevant aircraft.
