Position: Engine Assembly & Disassembly Technician
Reports to: Gate Manager / Team Lead
Safran is seeking a skilled Engine Technician to perform assembly, disassembly and inspection of aircraft engines and modules in accordance with approved procedures, while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Assemble, disassemble and inspect engines/modules in compliance with approved documents and safety standards.

Ensure proper condition, calibration and safe use of all tools and equipment.

Follow all quality procedures outlined in the Quality Manual.

Report defects, discrepancies, incidents and safety concerns per company procedures.

Maintain valid licenses and authorization privileges as required.

Ensure full compliance with PPE, MSDS guidelines and HSE standards.

Maintain excellent housekeeping and a hazard-free work area (5S compliance).

Handle chemicals and consumables safely according to MSDS instructions.

Follow safety protocols during engine ground handling and equipment maneuvering.

Complete accurate documentation required for certification.

Provide detailed and accurate shift handovers to inspectors or engineers.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
-
Technical Diploma, AME Certification, or Degree in Engineering.
Experience:
-
Experience in engine maintenance, ideally in an engine shop or power plant build-up facility.

Basic understanding of module removal/installation/repair/overhaul.
Technical Skills:
-
Knowledge of defect evaluation and disposition.

Basic Part 66 AME license (an advantage).

Familiarity with 5S and engine shop best practices.

Basic knowledge of Lean/Kaizen methodologies.
