Job Description:

We are currently seeking Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME) to join our high performing AME team in Sydney. As an AME at Jetstar, you will carry out aircraft maintenance in accordance with jetstar airlines 145 Approved Maintenance Organisation Exposition, Jetstar Safety Management System, Maintenance Control & Procedures Manual, Compan Policies and Civil Aviation Safety Authority regulatory requirements.

Qualification, Experience & Skills:

1. Certificate IV in Aeroskills
2. Experience on A320/1 and B787 aircraft type
3. 4th year apprentices are encouraged to apply
4. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within a team
5. Understanding of TRAX and basic xomouter literacy
6. Proven organisational and problem solving skills
7. Working within a safety management system
8. Customer Focussed
9. Demonstrated knowledge of PART 145 regulatory framework
10. Demonstrated knowledge of company policy and procedure

Job Responsibilities:

Working in Sydeny Line Maintenance, your responsibilities will include:

1. Ensure timely and correct completion of all work carried out
2. Quality control for aircraft presentation upon completion of maintenance and prior to release to service
3. Maintain annual leave at an acceptable level
4. Ensure customer satisfaction is at the forefront of mind during all your daily activity
5. Ensure properly attired and uniforms in good condition at all times
6. Maintain good housekeeping policies
7. Comply with the Jetstar Brand Values
8. Build and maintain a good working relationship with contractors and outside service providers
