Job Description:
We are seeking Aircraft Technicians who want to join team as we build a culutre of passionate commitment to execution, simplicity and customer loyalty at Avelo Airlines. We are a brand-new high value/low fare airline growing throughout the U.S. You will have a key role in creating an airline our Crewmembers are proud of because we deliver a great customer experience our customers know they can count on.
Qualification, Experience & Requirements:
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- 3 years of experience on different types of aircraft with 10 or more seat with an air carrier or certificated repair station preferred
- Knowledge of aircraft systems and troubleshooting and MEL/CDL procedures
- Boeing systems Fam courses preferred
- 737 Line maintenance preferred
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs for a distance of 10 fleet
- Must be able to work outside in inclement weather
- Must be able to work shift work, weekends and holidays
- Possible travel for training, development and/or issue resolution up to 25% away from base
- Must provide own hand tools to meet minimum company tool list
- Must have the authority to work in the U.S as defined in the Immigrations Act of 1986
- Complete a background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Current and valid Driver's License required
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant License required
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Maintain an understanding of the maintenance program
- Coordinate and execute scheduled and unscheduled work loads
- Assume ownership of the aircraft while on duy
- Maintain open communication with team leads, Maintenance Control And Pilots
- Demonstrated knowledge of structural repair manual conditional use and damage assessment
- Participate in the safety management system program and promote a Safety Always culture
- Behavioral Competencies:
- Possesses strong critical thinking and problem-solving/troubleshooting skills
- Ability to clearly lead, mentor and instruct other crew members
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
