Responsibilities and Duties:

Aircraft Maintenance: Perform pre-departure checks and routine/non-routine aircraft maintenance tasks within your authorized scope. This includes troubleshooting and component removal/installation.

Safety First: Identify and report any defects or safety concerns related to aircraft, engines, or accessories. Your vigilance ensures passenger safety.

Technical Adherence: Adhere to technical data, manuals, regulations, and maintenance directives. Compliance with established procedures is paramount.

Aircraft Movement: Participate in towing and aircraft movement activities as part of the maintenance process.

Pre-Arrival Inspection: Conduct pre-arrival inspections, check for foreign object damage, and ensure the aircraft parking area is free from obstructions.

Ground Equipment: Mobilize ground equipment when necessary and ensure their cleanliness and serviceability.

Procedural Reporting: Report any occurrences or discrepancies found in company procedures to ensure continuous improvement.

Communication: Maintain clear communication with the cockpit during both departure and arrival processes. Safety and precision are key.

Aircraft Reception: Receive aircraft upon arrival, chock the wheels, and ensure firefighting equipment readiness.

Support Duty Engineer: Assist the Duty Engineer with various tasks, including maintenance steps, equipment positioning, and technical rectification.

Refueling: Coordinate with the refueling company and perform fueling in adherence to safety procedures.

Tool Management: Ensure personal tools are in good condition and readily available for aircraft maintenance.

Safety and Quality: Take responsibility for the safety and quality of your tasks.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Diploma: Hold a Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

Licenses: Possess a Kuwait DGCA, UAE GCAA, or EASA License, endorsed with Airbus 320 family with CFM 56B and/or LEAP 1A engines.

Experience: Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in maintaining commercial aircraft, with a preference for the A320 family.

Skills: Demonstrate strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, time management, teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.

Technical Manuals: Ability to interpret Aircraft Technical Manuals is essential.

Language: Excellent communication skills, especially in English.
