Job Purpose

The Technician Trainee at Air Arabia will embark on a hands-on journey to assist engineers in conducting Avionics, Airframe, and Engine Maintenance tasks on Air Arabia aircraft. This includes inspections, repairs, component replacements, and adhering to the highest standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Result Responsibilities

Provide essential daily support to Line/Base Maintenance and Workshops engineers, ensuring timely and accurate execution of assigned tasks.

Participate in a structured training program designed in collaboration with the Air Arabia Technical Instructor and the Head of Maintenance and Maintenance Managers.

Execute maintenance tasks according to Air Arabia's standards, company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.

Undertake both routine and non-routine maintenance activities on Air Arabia and Third-party aircraft during maintenance inputs.

Prioritize safety by strictly adhering to manufacturer manuals and relevant publications.

Maintain a comprehensive understanding of assigned tasks and promptly inform Certifying Engineers and Shift Managers of any impending service disruptions or issues.

Handle the replacement of parts and components meticulously, following manuals and documentation requirements.

Conduct thorough physical inspections of components before fitting them to the aircraft.

Ensure proper labeling and blanking of ports to cover exposed areas.

Maintain cleanliness and organization at the workstation, both before and after completing assigned tasks.

Be prepared to receive training in other areas within the engineering and maintenance environment as needed.

Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)

A diploma in aircraft maintenance or an equivalent qualification is acceptable.

Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English for effective technical communication.

Competence in using computer applications, including Microsoft Office.

Must be physically fit and available for short-notice travel.

Ability to obtain a UAE Driver's License.

Age between 23 – 30 years.

Work Experience

Previous experience is not required for this role.

Ability to train in performing maintenance on large commercial aircraft.

Demonstrated understanding of Airframe and Engine Maintenance theory and practice.

Capable of working in Line or Base Maintenance environments.

Comfortable working under harsh conditions and adhering to a shift pattern.

Willingness and stamina to work long hours.
