FlyNas, one of Saudi Arabia's leading low-cost airlines, is currently seeking an Airworthiness and Reliability Engineer to join their team. The role is based in Riyadh, and the successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the airline's aircraft are maintained to the highest possible standards.


What does an Airworthiness and Reliability Engineer do?

  • As an Airworthiness and Reliability Engineer at FlyNas, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the airline's fleet. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting detailed technical investigations into aircraft incidents and accidents to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Reviewing and approving aircraft maintenance programmes to ensure they meet regulatory requirements and are cost-effective.
  • Working closely with other engineering departments to develop and implement maintenance and reliability improvement initiatives.
  • Conducting reliability analyses to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to improve aircraft performance and reliability.
  • Ensuring that all aircraft maintenance records are accurate and up-to-date.


Jobs Description

  • Coordinates recommendations for any changes that impact airplane flight operations.
  • Supports review and approval of technical manual and maintenance program changes based on analysis of airliens maintenance operations and reliability data.
  • Maintain and manage airline equipment baseline part number changes and part number interchangeability for all aircraft enrolled in fleet management services.
  • Produce the monthly reliability report.
  • Prepares and arrange the Monthly/ quarterly and yearly reliability meeting.
  • Maintain Airframe Service Bulletin and Airworthiness Directive database.
  • Carry out other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management.


Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, you will need to have the following qualifications and experience:

  • A BSc degree in Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • At least three to five years' experience in aircraft maintenance or engineering, with a focus on airworthiness and reliability.
  • Knowledge of the latest aviation regulations and standards, including EASA, FAA, and GACA.
  • Experience with aircraft maintenance management systems (MRO), reliability analysis software, and aviation safety management systems (SMS).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
