JOB DESCRIPTION

• Carry out repair, maintenance, inspection, modification, and certification required on aircraft wheels and brakes.
• Working to detailed instructions and approved component maintenance manuals, using good judgement and sustained effort in the workshop as per the capability list.
• Repair aircraft wheels and brakes as per laid down approved procedures and requirements of the CMM's.
• Co-ordinate with stores for material requirement.
• Ensure that, tasks are completed in stipulated time.
• Create shop order for incoming component.
• Request Wheels and Brakes Licenced Engineer or workshop supervisor to order spares or tools and equipment's for workshop.
• Control of shelf life for all expendables/consumables and spares used on the components.
• Ensure that all shop tools used are calibrated wherever required.
• Overall cleanliness of the facility and maintenance of the equipment used in the shop.
• Assist wheels and brakes licenced engineer and workshop supervisor in acquiring new capability or purchase new tools or equipment's.
• Assist in maintaining wheels and brakes shop in a satisfactory condition.
• Take up additional jobs, as and when, required.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Minimum 05 years of experience in the field of aircraft wheels and brakes maintenance.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Good knowledge of aircraft tools.
• Aware of safety precaution.
• Able to read Aircraft Manuals.
• Good communication skills
• Good MS office skills

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance field or equivalent.
