As a junior Mechanic you shall be responsible to carry out maintenance modifications and repairs to Aircraft structures, mechanical, electrical and avionics systems, all in accordance with approved work cards, work orders and relevant controlled technical documentation while respecting also personal trade /skill boundaries. Preferably you already obtained your theoretical EASA parts-66 license and are open to obtain the full license while working at TUI.
About Job Role:
Basic Function and Scope:
Acts as an assistant and helps Engineers in carrying out all maintenance task on kuwait airways and other operator aircrafts. Carries out work under the supervision and guidance of the station engineer.
Tasks and Duties:
- Assist shift engineers in preventive maintenance and defect rectification work on simulator and other training equipment. Work scooe includes working on motion, electronic, hydraulic and visual systems.
- Perform maintenance & servicing of aircraft under the supervision of engineers in compliance with standard maintenance procedures.
- Commit to and maintain good housekeeping standards in the station
- Ensure at all times that the safe working practices are adhered to
- Assist with the upkeep of the stores. Checking new items for correct part number and physical damage, placing spares at correct storage locations
- Assist in maintaining the library of technical documents and carries out documentation amendments and updates under engineer' s guidances
- Processing and filing of aircraft documentation
- Maintain the personal tool in an acceptable standard to the Quality control
- To maintain the wheel changing kit and other company tools and equipment
- Observes standard safety precautions during aircraft towing and push back operations. Guides push back drivers as necessary
Eligibility criteria for Junior Mechanic Job:
Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge:
- Completion of Secondary school (12) education
- 1 year job experience relating to Aircraft maintenance
- Fair knowledge of English language
