Job Role:
The workshop Mechanic (Nacelle Shop) wiil be reponsible to perform all required work in accordance with approved technical data, QR standards and procedures; meeting the highest shop practices and safety to provide operational results as set by the unit. Responsible for the completion of any assigned tasks within frame work of procedures and set timeframes by performing effectively within an environment of time constrains and high level of technical competency.
Eligibility Crietria For Aircraft Mechanic:
Qualification, Experience & Skills:
Qualification & Experience:
Without a Degree:
- High School qualification/ Voational qualification/ Diploma or equivalent with minimum 3 years of job related experience
With A Degree:
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with minimum 2 years of job related experience essential
- Aircraft Maintenance Experience
- Basic ICAO Type II License
- Trade related certificate
- At least one year practical experience in the technical field within a similar work area
- Trade related reinforcement training
- Recognized aeronautical / technical training certificate
- Sufficient skills within work area or 1 year experience in a similar workshop in a recognized airline
Job Skills:
- Knowledge of workshop fundamentales and related skills to his area of employment
- Ability to perform most tasks and duties independently typical to area of specialty
- Knowledge of work procedures to operate equipment to maintain satisfacotry operation determining the kinde of tools and equipment needed to do a job
- English language communication skills
- Skillful in sloving problem
- Controling operation of equipment or systems
- Understanding written instruction in work related documents
- Capable of handling pressure situations
- Capable of a working as a team with good communication skill
- Carrying out general maintenance needed on shop equipment
Accountibilities:
Operational:
- Responsible for the completion of assigned tasks to provide satisfactory service to customers
- To operate equipment or tooling relating to work area to meet time frame objectives for tasks
- Able to interpret information over a renge of normal activities to maintain satisfactory continuous operation
- Able to predominantly continue with assigned tasks without supervision, under normal conditions.To meet set productivity standards
- Perform other department duties related to his position as directed by hte head of the department
- Accountable to comply with the company health and safety policy
- Ensure aircraft component rectifications are accomplished in a timelt manner, to the defined QCAA/EASA PART-145requirments and in accordance with the desired quality standards
- Responsible for the completion of any assigned tasks within frame work of procedures and set time frames
- Perform by example to motivate team
- All team personnel to be made aware of any health and safety issues
Personal Development:
- Take responsibility forown ongoing personal development and growth of expertise
- Keep abreast with any market trends and developments
- Assist in the response to any emergency or a major operational disruption affecting Qatar Airways Speacial Assistance Program
- Train Qatari staff in various duties as per business requirements

- Ensure taht in performance of the role, all uses, disclosures and requests of any information are done in accordance with data protection principles adopted by the QR Group and are limited to what is reasonably required to accomplish the intended businesss purpose of the use disclousre or request
- Comply with all relevant company policies and procedures regarding the use, processing, disclousre and securityof any information and ensure that all staff under mu direct supervision are aware of and comply
- Consult the group's data protection officer in matters related to data protection and privacy as appropriate
- Ensure the confidentiality, security and protection of all information handled in the course of duties is maintained at all times from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, deletion, corruption, modification, inspection or recording
