Job Role: 

Cathay Pacific is looking for an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to join our awesome Auckland Engineering team to perform maintenance on Cathay Pacific and third party aircrafts. This is a permanent full-time role.

This role reports to the Engineering Manager, AKL and is pivotal in ensuring that a high level of safety, reliability, security and presentation is provided to the company, customers and regulatory authorities.

Requirements: 

1. Experience with B777, A330,A350, A380 and B747-8 Freighter aircraft types
2. IT literate and fully conversant in the use of microsoft applications, word, power point, excel, outlook and Internet explorer
3. Excellent organisational skills
4. Attention to detail and high level accuracy is imperative
5. Flexibility in adapting to different management styles
6. Sensitive to the requirements of different cultures and personalities
7. Ability to consistently communicate clearly and effectively
8. Proven ability to operate effectively with limited information and working independently without supervision

Key Reponsibilities: 

1. Perform aircraft maintenance when rostered to do so under the guidence of the LAME/Em
2. Perform maintenance and servicing of third party operator aircraft
3. Provide a high level of customer service
4. Keep up to date with aircraft systems, technology, processess and procedures
5. Ensure safe working practices are applied and all accidents and near misses are reported
